What: A neutral palette: warm lemon yellow and green Lacoste Vert 132 on flannel, matte nylon and classic cotton piqué. The outerwear includes double-breasted coats, anoraks, blazers and trench coats. The polo shirt is deconstructed, overlaid or enlarged with graphic jersey shapes. The knitwear is oversized and the tennis shoes are made from vulcanized rubber. Designed in 1927 by Robert George, the Lacoste crocodile is revisited with tone-on-tone embroidery, all-over prints and patchwork in perfect Pop Art style.
The reason why: For the irreverent mindful.
Catwalk quote: “Irreverent: not particularly concerned with the well-being, happiness, comfort, or desires of others, such as cholera, smallpox, rattlesnakes and satirical newspapers can be defined” (Ambrose Bierce)
