LONDON FASHION WEEK WOMAN'S
Who: Pringle of Scotland
What: Knitted looks in a color palette comprising hazelnut, cream, midnight blue and charcoal. Bold graphics emphasizes the appeal of the collection, while a ski ensemble inspired the chevron motif on one of the looks. Sweaters are revisited with an argyle print characterized by graphic contrast. Classic Scottish tartan is used on sweaters, high waisted pants and kilt-style skirts. The high waisted pants are teamed with cropped sweaters and cardigans and are fastened at the ankle, athleisure style.
The reason why: For those who are fond of the past.
Catwalk quote: “Pringle is built on yarn! From the very first knitted undergarments two centuries ago, it has been all about the beauty and versatility of cashmere, merino, lambswool… we love it all. ” (Fran Stringer, Womenswear Design Director)
