The surfaces are now more and more elaborate and fashion houses are pushing to the limit their ability to create original fabrics that leave their mark. Obviously protagonists of this category are embroidery, lace and laser cut that we all know, but this is not just about this.
A less common but certainly fascinating technique is called “needle punching“. Thanks to this technique, different fabrics can be joined together without having to sew them together. It doesn’t create a patchwork effect detachment, but the result is a sort of almost homogeneous transition that makes the whole look like a single fabric.
