WES ANDERSON + JUMAN MALOUF

AFTER THE RELEASE OF HIS LATEST FILM, THE ISLAND OF DOGS, WES ANDERSON IS ALREADY BACK AT WORK AND READY TO AMAZE AGAIN. THIS TIME IT WON’T BE IN THE CINEMA THAT WILL LEAVE HIS SIGNATURE BUT IN AN ART GALLERY: PRECISELY THE KUNSTHISTORISCHES MUSEUM IN VIENNA.

The American director is in fact taking care of an exhibition together with his partner and designer Juman Malouf, which will be inaugurated on November 6th with the title: “Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and Other Treasures”.

The two artists had more than 4 million objects belonging to the museum available to go and create something that the curator himself, Jasper Shapr, has defined as “different from what we have always done”.

After the Austrian capital, the exhibition already plans to travel to the Fondazione Prada in Milan. The details are still totally obscure but this new look of Anderson already intrigues all the insiders and more.
