What job did you want to do as a child?
I wanted to be an architect. I did the exam at university then ended up studying engineering.
What about your experience at Polimoda?
Above all ITALY revealed that there is no permission to create and that beauty comes in different forms – to stay true to yourself , and believe me is hard in this industry.
Where do you usually get inspiration from?
Downtown México and local Mercados (markets) combined with some personal experience and kinkiness on the side.
How do you feel a Mexican designer in America?
We need more representation of LATINX in fashion platforms.
Your next project?
Working on an installation with Andres Souto for design week with Archivo in October. Planning my next pop-up in LOS ANGELES. Working on my next collection it’s a constant non stop job.
What do you want to tell us about the next collection?
Femininity, love, beauty, death and decay where my insecurities found death.
The most beautiful memory until now.
My family accepting me for who I am and being able to present my work internationally.
