REDMILK LOVES OUT OF THE BOX MINDS! DISCOVER THE EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH TEDDY.
1.Is there any particular person whom throughout your life has inspired you, if so who? And why?
There isn’t one specific person who’s inspired me, I find inspiration in everyone who comes into my life from my mother, to my friends, to the amazing creatives I work with on a daily basis.
2.What would you say your biggest passion is, your dream career or goal, and do the two go hand in hand for you?
My biggest passion is making the world a more equal place and changing people’s perceptions of what normal is. I’ve been able to work on some of it as a model by coming out as transgender and also as a survivor of sexual assault. I’d like to use my experiences and voice to change and reform even more than just fashion. I’d love to work in politics one day to affect change on a broader scale.
3.What place do you nd the most relaxing, a place where you can re- charge yourself, and gather your thoughts?
My bedroom in NYC is my favorite place to come when I’m overwhelmed or stressed. My bedroom is small but filled with my favorite things like books, beautiful cloths, paintings, and cool bugs haha.
4.Who or what would you say is your biggest influence?
My biggest influence is when I see someone fearless and brave. I admire people who aren’t afraid to be themselves and fight for what’s right.
5.When it is time for you to get dressed in the morning, or when going out, do you find yourself to be more inspired by your mood? Or are you someone who prefers to have a specific “uniform”?
My style changes almost every day, I love to look at my collection of amazing pieces and create a new character every day. What I wear can be inspired by an old fashion show I’ve seen or a video game character, it just depends on what I’m feeling in the moment.
6.Last but not least, the typical question you ask anyone when trying to get to know them. What’s your favorite color?
I wear a lot of black but I would say that I’m in love with really deep rich colors like Ox blood red, pine green, midnight blue.
