5 VISIONARY CINEMA DIRECTORS

IN THE HISTORY OF CINEMA THERE HAVE BEEN MANY DIRECTORS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INTERPRET AND STAGE ALL KINDS OF STORIES, BUT FEW OF THEM HAD THE COURAGE TO REVOLUTIONIZE AND INNOVATE THE SEVENTH ART.

Surely some of them are grouped here in the moodboard: from the poetic and deeply personal vision by Pasolini with (among others) the movie “Medea” starring Maria Callas, to the majesty and beauty of Fellini’s cinema with Satyricon. Among the most contemporary directors there is the young Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn with “The Neon Demon” starring Ellle Fanning and on the other side, with the masterpiece “Edward Scissorshands”, Tim Burton. It could not miss a female name on visionary cinema, like that of Alice Rhorvacher with in particular the film “The Wonders”.
