FOR PEET DULLAERT FASHION IS A MATTER OF SHAPE AND HARMONY WITH THE BODY AND IT ALSO SHOWS IN ITS SS18 COLLECTION.
Talking about young talents in the fashion world, we must talk about PEET DULLAERT. Just 23 years old, he has founded his brand, which, also for the SS18 collection, take us in a magical world, made of shapes and lines blended in perfect harmony.
His style has become unmistakable, so much to attract the attention of many critics. For this year, in fact, he has been chosen for the first edition of the “Swarovski & Vogue Talents New Generation Award” recently held during the Milan Fashion Week.
A world, that of the Dutch designer, that enchants for its pure simplicity and essentiality that never forgets a reference to nature as something ancestral.
Its SS18 collection is a homage to the Mother Earth and the elements that dominate and give life breath: water, air, fire, earth and metal.
The campaign of this collection is simple but evocative, thanks to the location that has been chosen: the atelier of the Romanian artist Mitica Pamfilie from which Peet has instantly felt inspired, finding a strong connection between his clothes and the works of the artist, both exploring the organic forms and the anatomy of man.
Peet Dullaert continues in this research for forms to enhance human individuality and freedom. Each dress is in synergy with the model, allowing him to move in the contemporary jungle. This “Zen-Line”, as defined by the designer, collection after collection, is developed by adding new details, without ever abandoning the classic techno-plissé detail, which is the true signature of the brand.
This collection is a surreal journey, in which the models look like creatures coming from deep sea or from somewhere . The figure is in harmony with the dress and this is pure magic.
In a world like ours we need young talents like Peet Dullaert, who elegantly meet the needs of the modern world that runs faster and faster.
