MFW FALL WINTER 2017-18 – XU ZHI FW
This Milan Fashion Week marked the debut of the emerging Chinese brand Xu Zhi. The designer has graduated at Central Saint Martins and has previously worked with the big of fashion, indeed the collection didn’t disappoint. Looking for a new definition of luxury, Xu Zhi’s fashion focuses on impeccable craftsmanship, which results in long fluid silhouettes, complicated by juxtapositions of denim patchwork and fringes, intricate designs and very feminine cuts. In a whirlwind of clean-cut coats, long dresses and jumpsuits embellished with fringes and made unique thanks to special processings, a colour palette made of soft beige and lit by flashes of acid yellow, light pink and pale blue stands out.
