MFW FALL WINTER 2017-18 – FRANCESCO SCOGNAMIGLIO
Francesco Scognamiglio has definitely succeeded in bringing their gracefulness and elegance to the catwalk, in a collection made of organza, tulle and velvet adorned with wide ruffles, determinating for the models’ metamorphosis. Soft fur covers the shoulders, the clothes open in wide V-necks or wrap the neck thight and fit the body fluidly, boots go over the knee and operate like a second skin, in iridescent tones and bright colours such as red, blue and aquamarine. Even the colours recall those of butterflies, with black and midnight blue alternating with more subdued and delicate shades, such as white, pale pink and lilac. A collection which tells the story of an ephemeral beauty, a winter night illuminated by sequin embroidery and glittering makeup.
