MFW FALL WINTER 2017-18 –DIESEL BLACK GOLD FW
The 90s are not over yet, now it’s a certainty. The past decade has still a lot to give in terms of fashion and that’s exactly the starting point of Diesel Black Gold, which for Fall Winter 2017 draws inspiration from the 90s in London. The collection is played in shades of black and brown and it’s a concentration of grunge flavours that come to life on the long shearling coats (also close to a 70s rock’n’roll feeling, see “Almost Famous”), patent leather, biker jackets and extra long Matrix-like leather jackets, but also patchwork and pinstripes. It is a triumph of front zips, long and pretty comfortable silhouettes, shearlings, dresses reminding of overalls, leather corsets and daring little dresses that overlap turtlenecks, and of course, a lot of denim, in long buttoned skirts that open on the front, in long dresses and tight tops with belted waist and sleeves covered with a pair of arm warmers. All about the revival and the remix.
