For FW17 Yusuke Takahashi returns to describe the relaxed attitude of the “neonomad”, a tireless traveller who’s free to call home any part of the world. Thus we find robes-like coats, comfortable suits, cigarette pants and baggy trousers in finely woven fabrics, soft quilted jackets and trenches. The catwalk turns into a shady water stream, which unfolds in a colour palette that ranges from deep blue to electric blue and iridescent grey, reminiscent of the manifold properties of water. As opposed, we can spot flashes of warm colours, yellow and orange for warm turtleneck knit sweaters and cardigans, sand-colored trenches and burnt sienna suits recalling the desert. There are also incredibly modern cuts and technical fabrics, with a metropolitan taste.
