Urban fashion populates the streets, real stages of style, laboratories of ideas and suggestions for emerging designers. With simple apparels, but with unique characteristics some brands have been able to differentiate itself from the crowd:
ARIES – A female streetwear brand founded by designer Sofia Prantera, from graphic designer Fergus Purcell and Luca Benini of Slam Jam. It’s contemporary clothing brand inspired by the youth anti-consumeristic movements that have characterized the second half of the 20th century. Aries is like a flashback to the 80’s with a line that is characterized by original forms, simplicity and originality.
RAISED BY WOLF – Founded by Pete Williams, is a Canadian brand born in 2008. The design is strongly linked to street culture and the idea of a suitable clothing for all occasions. Strong color contrasts, clean and sporty lines, accentuate and differentiate the streetwear concept of the brand.
BLEU DE PANAME – Parisian brand founded in 2009. Are evident the influences of the French workwear stylet, revisited for the new urban generation. The line was founded by the creative duo of Christophe Lépine and Thomas Giorgetti. Emerges a strong desire to recover the French know-how combined with a skilfull textile research: their focus is a revisit of the workwear uniform in a contemporary way.
