MTV EMA 2015

THE 22ND ANNUAL MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS HIT THE MEDIOLANUM FORUM IN MILAN LAST NIGHT WITH A SLEW OF WORLDWIDE STARS ON HAND
As in earlier years, no costs were spared for elaborate sets, moving stages, lighting effects and a powerful sound for one of the very best MTV EMA.
Singer Ed Sheeran co-hosted with Australian actress and MTV VJ Ruby Rose.
There were also stars like Pharrell, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, James Bay, Ellie Goulding, Rudimental, Mackle & Ryan Lewis that opened the show.
The best performance was probably by Tori Kelly playing her guitar behind a curtain made out of CDs and then in a powerful duet with legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli
Setting a record with nine nominations, Taylor Swift was expected to sweep the awards. But it was someone else who stole the show on Sunday evening in Milan.
Justin Bieber in getting ‘Best Looks’ award admitted, “I don’t know what to say because I got these looks from my mama.” The show definitely belonged to him: the Canadian superstar probably clocked up the most mileage, not only performing his song “What Do You Mean” but stepping onstage five times to take his awards, taking home Best Male, Best Worldwide Act: North America, Best Look, Best Collaboration and the Best Fans award.
