Skate is?
A piece of wood with wheels on it. That to me causes the slight feeling of floating and the lack of control makes me feel like i don’t know what will happen next.
that is the best feeling of all when you are looking for adventure.

Skate why?
Because my brother always did it when  I was a kid and he made me love it. Also because skating is so hard that it keeps my attention and it is something I can never master and that gives it endless possibilities of never getting board.

Skate how?
I usually skate however and do whatever I feel like that day is fun to me. I skate in a way that I think I just entertain myself. I try not to think too hard about it as long as it is fun to me. Or if it gets my imagination going then I get super excited to try whatever comes to mind. with skating or anything i do i like most of all to be able to surprise myself.

Skate with?

Usually just my close friends. Mark Spencer who is  actually not my brother we just have the same last name. Micah Hollinger, Richie Jackson, my friend Victor. I usually go out with a mixed crew that is down for whatever happens. Sometimes we find the oddest things to skate or film or just make whatever we want out of junk then use it to film something fun.

Skate where?

I like to skate in obscure spots that you would not think could be skated or look like they wouldn’t be able to be skated but we will fix up cracks or move things or arrange things until we make a cool spot or almost art direct a spot until something new and cool exists and can be skated.

William’s dreams?

I dream of being good enough at the type of skating that I do to have it at some point maybe be relevant enough to have a real sponsor.
As far as movies and other stuff I love as well I really want to make movies like Buster Keaton and Jackie Chan where I can do a full performance and be a character that both falls down the stairs but also can put sentences together on film. I just want to be well rounded enough to be able to write stories no one else is telling and be able to make them come to life, and being able to write and act and do stunts and direct if need be to make good stories come to life then I want to be good enough to do that.

William stuntman?

I have been  lucky enough to be able to do stunts in movies. It has been a crazy road with lots of twists and turns.
Such good things and some hard things. Most of stunt work is really fun. Some is scary and hard to learn but if you can and do get to see the world and meet really cool people and do something new almost everyday.
I was lucky enough to be able stunt double for the reboot The Amazing Spider-Man. It was a crazy experience have the chance to be a part of  movie about a character that is so deeply loved by so many.

I look forward to doing more movies doing stunts but also see what comes next in the way of what I said above about wanting to move into the Buster Keaton realm. Acting and Stunts equal parts.

William’s rules?

The only rules are there are no rules, to skating or anything you like to do or want to do. There is no wrong or right way to do it. The only rule I have is if you like doing it and it feels cool then do it and it will make  you happy. Nothing else besides that really matters, at least to me and in my opinion.
You can spend years practicing being as good as you can at all the tricks that are popular right now or that your favorite pro does and do all the “coolest” tricks and still if you are good at them but people don’t like how you dress, people won’t like you or if you do the tricks but your style isn’t good they don’t like you or if you do the tricks but everyone else is doing the same ones no one cares or notices you because you are doing all the same tricks as everyone else. which  means you have walked into a big house party and everyone who is already at the party has the exact same shirt one.
A sea of people and you get lost in it. Anyway just some food for thought. so just do you and don’t look back.

Skate street vs skate park?
I think the fact that skateparks exist and people have taken the time and money to make something cool for people to do what they wanna do i think it is so cool. i also think they are such good place to first learn tricks and get them down in perfect conditions. Then from there be able to take them out to the streets.  so for that reason yes i like them. I however don’t spend a huge amount of time at skateparks. i am a naturally shy person so sometimes skating with a lot of people i don’t know at a skatepark i will get the feeling i am  in peoples way or i am self conscious about messing up all day long when i am learning new tricks. But if i can get past those thoughts i really like to be there and watch people doing such rad stuff and get all inspired by what goes on there.

Skate flips and tricks?

What can i say about those. Well yes i have always loved doing flips and jumping off of things so when i stared to really get into skating after high school i decided that i wanted to put things together that i really like, skating and jumping.
So that is the reason i started doing flips with skating and because it was an experiment and i wanted to see what happens when i try to do both at once or if it was possible to flip onto my skateboard. As far as other tricks that i really like usually include some experiment of some kind to just see if i can invent a new way to entertain myself. so far it feels like its working.

Skate vs parkour?
The differences to me are this- skating is the adding of wheels to walking, running, jumping to make all these harder so that they are more fun.
Parkour is the adding of running, jumping, flipping, climbing, to just moving normally as to make walking more fun.
Skating is super fun if you have a good place to do it or if you have really good smooth ground. but if you live in the jungle or forest where there is not any concrete around and you can’t roll or its not smooth or no way to move with wheels then parkour is a super fun way to get a feeling like skating but in a way that a monkey might do it. At least in my opinion that is what i feel about it.
Sometimes its just fun to see how far you can jump or if you can do flips off walls i just like how it feels to be flying upside down sometimes.

William’s motto?

If you aren’t having fun doing what you are doing then don’t bother doing it no matter what you are up to.
Life is too short to take anything too seriously so just enjoy your life cause its all gonna be over real quick.
