The NYFW collection was presented in the Highline Hotel, scenically decorated with high ceilings, wood-paneled walls and stain glassed windows.
Ruffles and ribbed knits were repetitive as Roche’s ballet influenced designs were apparent. The collection in total was convincing enough to be considered from the studio, rather than the runway; from the barre, rather than backstage.
Roche’s collection, among many is a clear indication that the trending correlation between dance and fashion is not one to disappear.
