Rotterdam based architecture studio MVRDV reimagined a disused elevated highway in Seoul into a unique sky garden. The project’s ambition is to make the 9.661 square-meter space into a library of local plants, a city-centre arboretum, arranged according to their names in Korean alphabet. The Seoul Skygarden will evolve in the future with new plants and new connected satellite gardens creating an urban nursery in Seoul.
