Well, some photojournalists has decided that we are surrounded by a lot of Foster Kane today and it’s time to open our eyes on the truth around us. So, they’ve thought to stick giant prints on NYC walls and let the passersby impressed by them.
This group of young international fighters has a name: Dysturb (dysturb.com) and it’s their personal war.
Their arms are black and white photos of harrowing human scenes from around the world mimicking the costly Adv campaigns to promote modern products and brands. It’s started in France in the early spring by pohotojournalists Terdjman Piere and Benjamin Girette who’s said: “NYC is full of insane and good ideas when you deal with media (…)”.
If you are in the Big Apple now and see one of their large monochrome images, check it out the hashtag and discover more informations on the pic and the photographer. Someone could think it’s a kind of streetart but, hey guys, they’re just educating us to the truth.
