When was the last time that you felt, woow, super happy?
During last fashion week when people were coming to see our showroom but I try to wake up every morning like that and be grateful for the day to come, it’s not easy.
How would you describe J.T. from your point of view?
I’d describe myself as a spiritual warrior, a pirate mad about his gold bars.
How you think others will describe you?
Depending who. We have a different mask for everybody. They see you the way you want them to.
When and why did Bulliony Idea came to your mind?
The idea of Bulliony came to me when I was running the Paris marathon in 2012. You have a lot of time to think as it’s quite long. I was at the 30 km and it hit me: I remembered the gold bar my grandmother showed me once. I remember wearing it back in the days and influential people in fashion asking me where I got it. So I decided to design one with my taste with a longer chain and a different bar. One that I could engrave.
And since it start how did it evolved?
I’m very careful, it took me a year and a half to test the market. The numbers are good, now that I see that it has a real potential, I’m “all in”.
What do you need to get into a creative mood?
I need to meditate, dive inside of me, observe and stop the polluting thoughts of fear and assumptions and get to the creative state of mind I need. Than it unfolds naturally, like everything in life, as we are creations and creativity.
Tell me something that you can’t live with?
Food, I can’t live without good food. I cook a lot for me and my friends. I don’t like to go out so much as very little restaurants knows about nutrition and superfood.
And something that you can’t live with?
If someone was about to make a movie about your life, wich would you like to be the tittle?
Wich kind of girl you imagine wearing Bulliony jewellery?
Queens, any kind of girl who loves timeless design and heavy gold pieces.
And wich kind of man?
If today, as in this exact moment, you could be only a word, wich one you’ll be?
Is there anything that you think people should know about you and they don’t?
I’m thankful for the time they spent reading the interview.
