Lepokorpi (lepokorpi.com) – Finland
Visceral, tactile, bright…
Lepokorpi’s aesthetic mixes the colourful tradition set by Finnish fashion pioneers in the ‘60s with the sobriety and somber state of mind of the Nordic culture. Finnish designer graduated from the Aalto University in Helsinki, Saara Lepokorpi established the eponymous womenswear label in 2011. Her creations are a modern interpretation of femininity and of the everyday life contradictions: contrasts of colour and fabrics, wrinkles and ripples characterize pieces with a visceral flavour conceived for women who love the tailored wearability of male garments as well as sportswear elements.

Studio Uribe (studiouribe.co.uk) – UK
Tribal, refined, geometrical…
He is Welsh with a long experience working in branding and advertising, she has Chilean and American origins and stints as accessories designer at major luxury houses. Helmed by couple Sion and Tiffany Phillips, the brand Studio Uribe recently launched a jewelry line based in London. The first collection for Fall/Winter is inspired by their heritage, travel and backgrounds: gold-plated necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets have lapis lazuli and striped-enamel accents and geometric shapes which confer to the pieces a tribal allure.

Vava (vavaeyewear.com) – Germany
Conceptual, pure, minimal…
Detroit, Berlin, post-industrial cities and the Techno movement are just some of the inspirations of Vava. A new-born eyewear brand that has quickly made itself heard sponsoring the Sonar Festival, Vava Eyewear was established by the Portuguese Pedro da Silva and is based in Berlin. In an environment of high-speed culture, the brand represents deceleration, purism and metaphysics. Entirely handmade at a small family-owned Italian factory, the rectangular or rounded frames are minimal and comforting.
