From transvestite raves at Block 9 to campfires and cuddles at the Stone Circle and secret electro underground discos high up in The Park, Glastonbury Festival is an epic adventure for party people. Even the mud couldn't dampen the dancing efforts. It's impossible to see everything in just a few days - I'm already planning 2015 - but here are my highlights of this most magical Somerset weekend...

Dolly Parton in Sunday afternoon’s Legends spot. The petite country gal had the crowd wrapped around her finger from the start, causing grown men to weep in the crowd when she sang ‘I will always love you’. She defied Glastonbury’s famously awful weather by wearing a blinging white trouser suit and covering every instrument and accessory in sparkling diamanté, even wearing diamonds in her hair. A friend who slipped into her tour bus for an interview earlier that day couldn’t stop smiling and sighing: ‘Her perfume, her hair, her bosoms!’

2. Ella Eyre at Sonic on Saturday afternoon. Bounced onto the stage looking incredible in a sequined mesh catsuit and giving us MAJOR hair envy. Her fierce and fresh performance, including Deeper and If I Go, had the crowd jumping and smiling like idiots. She’s being touted as a mini Beyonce, but is in fact much cooler. After the show she tweeted: ‘Glastonbury you have made my life – that show was what dreams are made of.’ We thought so too Ella.

3. Nashville funk-pop duo Cherub popping up at the Rabbit Hole at 3am on Saturday morning. The bonkers boys had flown in from the states just for the surprise gig in a tiny bar at the top of The Park, a real #Glastonburymoment.

4. Kasabian closing as the sun set on the Pyramid stage on Sunday night (finally, clear blue skies!). Lead singer Tom Meighan looked HOT in a white tux but it was Sergio that has the girls swooning in skinny trousers and a v cool hat. Amazing energy, killer tunes, terrifying mosh pit and a ‘tear up’ of an afterparty in their Winnebago that went on until the +next morning.

5. And finally… A chilled Buck’s Fizz brunch next to Alexa Chung/Julian McDonald/Douglas Booth/Jamie Winstone/Caroline Flack backstage on Sunday morning. Because it wouldn’t be Glastonbury without some cheeky  celebrity spotting. And a girl can only drink so much cider.
