SCONES (CHOCOLATE AND LEMON)

100 gr brown sugar
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
125 ml plant milk
200 gr  flour 00
70 gr of whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
100 gr of dark chocolate chips
zest of 1 lemon

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. In a bowl fray together the sugar, the vegetable oil and the coconut milk; in another one put the flour (00 and whole wheat), the baking powder and the baking soda. Merge the contents of the two bowls and add the milk gradually. Knead until you have a smooth and compact ball.

2. Grate the peel of a lemon and incorporate to the mixture, and then add the chocolate chips. Then form a ball and place on a floured cutting board. With the help of a knife cut the ball into slices, forming triangles. Place the triangles on a baking sheet covered with greaseproof paper and bake for 15-20 minutes.
