Bevza ( – Ukraine
Minimalist, aristocratic, pure…
Clean lines, accurate cuts and aristocratic inspirations. The brand Bevza, founded by Svetlana Bevza in 2006, is one of the most fascinating of the Ukrainian scene that revolves around the University of Technology and Design in Kiev. Her minimalist style, with a classic twist, plays with pure hues that illuminate the garments. The Autumn/Winter ‘13 collection is inspired by the performance Pupilla of the experimental artist Valeria Magli. Rigorous pieces dominated by pure white and black are offset with oversized capes and total looks whose prints are based on the dolls’ faces of Magli’s show.

HyunSeon JeonSpain
Conceptual, architectural, contemporary…
HyunSeon Jeon loves architecture and its proportions. Born in South Korea but based in Spain, she has recently graduated in Footwear Design at Cordwainers College in London. Her sculptural shoes, conceptual and rigorous, feature their own uniqueness in terms of forms and contemporary femininity. Full and empty volumes, clean-cut lines and unusual details, such as the labyrinthine wood heel, are the designer’s hallmarks. Her grad collection is characterized by highly evocative pieces that pay homage to Gaudi’s architectures through copper inserts and webbed heels.
