Isa Arfen ( – England
Quirky, nonchalant, relaxed…
Founded by Central Saint Martin’s graduate Serafina Sama in late 2011, the label Isa Arfen is inspired by the designer family’s strong female figures, whose individual and eccentric styles are reflected in her design aesthetic. Her relaxed style, enriched by dreamy embellishments, mix Italian traditions with a touch of London creativity. The pieces of this Italian designer are full of contrasts in the proportions as well as in the fabrics. Techno taffeta or heavy silk shantung are mixed with more fluid fabrics, voluminous culottes or oversize coats are combined with fitted tops, emerald green is offset by white and petunia pink. A sophisticated collection for women who like to have fun with clothes without being showy.
