[:en]A former meat shop and a little renovation work give life to Made in the Shade - a space set up in the characteristic area of the Navigli canals of Milan. It is the child of nomadic souls, constantly in movement between areas of the world which go as far as California and Perù.

The onlooker’s attention is caught by fine, hand-crafted natural materials, which constantly give rise to ideas which are embodied in the creation of two brands: Local and B’Sbee. It is a place dedicated not only to sales: clothes and accessories are mixed with pieces which speak of art, and exhibitions designed to make this space a meeting point where people, objects and disciplines make a rendezvous, in the shade, in the right place.
How and when did you have the idea to found Made in The Shade?
Made in the Shade is the result of 25 years of traveling and experiences around the world. The name of the shop can be also read as “made in the right place”
The shop interiors are well neat and in perpetual evolution, do you collaborate with designers or you do it on your own?
Countries we’ve visited and collaboration with people from all over the world, gave us a lot of info and ideas that we’ve transferred into our space.
What’s the biggest reward in your working career?
Keep our freedom, not being influenced by what is happening o by the market directions.

American West Coast, we go there since ever.
Do you have any web-dedicated plan?
Yes, we are looking to have an online shop, but we want to do it in a very special way.
