What is your first thought when you wake up?
I open the window, do ten push-ups and then I have a shower.
What makes you happy?
Being surrounded by the people I love.
What makes you feel at home?
When I’m at my parents’ house in Rimini. I still find it hard to feel at home in Milan.
I’ve only lived here for three years.
Which food represents you?
Spaghetti, tomato sauce and basil.
In your opinion, who represents style today?
At this precise moment, the women stylists and bloggers, and the It girls who are photographed before and after the shows. They also use social networks such as Twitter and Instagram, taking photos of the show outfits, which gives a much more realistic outcome.
Your life in a play-list?
Past: “You only live once” by the Strokes.
Present: “Some Nights” by the Fun
Future: MGMT’s entire album: “Oracular Spectacular”.
If your life were a film, who would be your film-director?
What is your idea of relaxation?
Sunday afternoons in the winter when it’s raining outside; my sofa and a TV series such as Mad Men and American Horror Story.
What is your leitmotif?
The one from when I started MSGM: Never look back it’s all ahead! It’s a motto which is suitable for any setting. Looking back only makes us insecure, while it’s good to be excited about the future.
What scares you?
When an aeroplane takes off, because I’m always afraid that it won’t manage to lift off the ground and will crash.
What would you never wear?
Elasticised jersey boxer shorts …I’d never ever be able to do it!
